Introducing the Stevie Stones ‘Kindness Award’

This year, we proudly launched the first ever Stevie Stones Kindness Award.

We all remember at school how we got or saw other people get awards for all sorts of things; sports, maths, spelling, attendance… but nobody ever got an award for being a good person and kind to others. Well, not in our experience.

Stevie was all about just this – making sure everyone else was ok and what better way to honour her memory than to present a prize to a pupil at St George’s CofE Primary School in Worcester. We conspired with the teaching group to identify one pupil who stood out because of their kindness to others.

We were then on hand to gift them the ultimate in children’s treats – a sweet hamper made by It’s So Fluffy!

Feeling Inspired? Nominate Your Kindness Stars

Do you know a child who goes out of their way to be kind? Whether it’s helping a friend in need, volunteering in the community, or simply being a ray of sunshine to those around them, we want to hear their story! In honour of Stevie, we’re making the Kindness Award an annual event. If you’d like to nominate someone for next year’s award, please get in touch at [email protected]

The ‘Kindness Awards’ are open to all kids, and anyone can nominate a child they think deserves to be recognised. Teachers, coaches, neighbours, and friends—this is your chance to celebrate the young people who make our world a better place.

Spreading the Ripple Effect of Kindness

The ‘Kindness Awards’ aren’t just about celebrating one child—they’re about inspiring everyone to be kinder. By sharing these heartwarming stories, the Stevie Stones Charity hopes to encourage others to spread kindness and make the world a friendlier place.
