STEVIE STONES CHARITY

“Stevie Stones is a caring charity that will support any family that is struggling financially with a memorial after the loss of a child.”

Stevie Stones

Stevie Stones was founded in 2021 on the back of the tragic death of Stevie Graham, the beloved daughter of Barri and Naomi Graham.

On completion of the registration forms required to complete the service and burial the Graham’s were able to enlist the help of Stonemasons of Worcester to design a headstone which captured the essence of their daughter. This would then allow for a focus on subsequent visits to see Stevie and was an important part of the healing process. It was during one of these visits that Barri noticed that a number of neighbouring plots where other unfortunate children were laid to rest had no headstone or marker to show that a child had been laid to rest. Stevie Stones was founded to make sure that never happened again.

Our Aim

The aim of the charity is to ensure that all parents have access to funding to provide a headstone for their child and alleviate financial stresses in the most difficult of circumstances.
All parents should have the opportunity to have a memorial which captures their thoughts about their lost child.  Furthermore, the charity has founded a support network for parents who find themselves in this unfortunate position.

About Our Charity

Our support network will provide assistance to all parents which can include signposting to professional assistance when required with a long term aim to have the facility for bereavement counselling.

We will help those who have recently lost a child and also ensure that all parents can retrospectively access funding for a headstone. There is no time limit on using our services because your child is always your child no matter how much time may have passed.

“No parent at this cemetery (and beyond) would ever go without a headstone.”
— BARRI AND NAOMI GRAHAM

Your donation can make a difference!

You are making a real difference to our parents.

A big thank you to our partners

Having created Stevies memorial with the family last year, we were keen to support them in any way we could. The charity benefits from a discount off every memorial and we add value such as artwork wherever we can. We want to see their funds stretch as far as possible to help as many people as possible.

Through Stevie Stones, Baz and Naomi are ready to help and all of us at Stonemasons of Worcester are right behind them.

Important annoucements

The 2024 iteration of the Stevie Stones Wing Walk took place on 9 Apr 2024.

Despite the terrible weather conditions our brave volunteers took to the skies and achieved both much needed funding for this charity but also hugely enriched their own lives with a brilliant experience.

The event proved once again to be a success with a large pool of supporters helping to cheer on our intrepid volunteers.

We anticipate that this becomes a permanent fixture in the Stevie Stones diary so if you want to help out – you can start preparing now for 2025!

If you wish to brave the wing or support the event, please contact the team at [email protected]

We’re absolutely blown away by the work, dedication and discipline that preparing for and completing this marathon took. To do that to help us and our beneficiaries is simply next level – thank you Rachael for your support.
